PRIVATE 1:1 ART SESSION
✘ The Deal: 90 minutes, just you and me, in the studio. You pick the direction, I bring the guidance.
Drawing, graphite, charcoal, proportion, perspective, portraits, animals, mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, oil, layering, collage, ceramic, cyanotype or any technique you have seen me use! Whatever you want to get better at, or whatever you've been meaning to try and never had the push to start.
✘ Who this is for: Total beginners who want real fundamentals, not a youtube tutorial. Artists who've hit a wall and need fresh eyes on their work. Anyone who wants to actually finish that one piece they keep almost starting.
✘ What's included: All materials, my full attention, zero judgment. This is a curiosity zone, not a critique.
✘ One session or a bundle: Book one class to try it out, or grab the 5 class bundle if you're working toward something specific, like finally nailing a color portrait, building a body of work, or just getting consistent.

The Lab is where I teach my workshops and share my ongoing research into the intersection of art and the mind. It’s a working archive of experiments, live sessions, and the raw studio updates that never make it to the 'perfect' gallery wall.

After six years as a full time artist, I’ve realized that when I present my art, most people only see the final product, the "pretty" image. I feel like people often miss out on what is truly behind it: the hours and hours of research, skill building, brainstorming, experimenting, and having fun! (Because behind every artist is a person with a dream of sharing her passions with the world.)
So, I invite you once a week to my studio to join me while I work. I’ll share the behind-the scenes process and give you a sneak peek at new collections and special events! Whether you’re a fellow artist, an enthusiast, or a collector, you are welcome to bring your questions too. This space is here to make art communal again!
✘ Duration: 2 hours
✘ The Experience: Once a week, I open the doors. No polished gallery vibes: just a working art studio. Watch the research happen, see the exploration and "rabbit holes" in person, and ask questions about the life of an artist and the architecture of a creative practice.
✘ The Protocol: This is a community space. Come as you are.
✘ The Exchange: This session is Free to attend, but registration is required so I can manage the space. If you’d like to support the Lab, "Matcha & Snack" donations are always welcome in person or via the site!
✘ The Result: A deeper understanding of the process behind the pieces in the Vault, and the chance to enjoy a creative moment in my art studio just a few steps from the beach.

I took eight Private Lessons with Flo and painted a self-portrait, something I never thought I could do! Flo is not only incredible skilled but also warm, encouraging, and easy to connect with.
She taught me how to create abstract backgrounds, transfer facial proportions to the canvas, and build up a portrait step by step. Her guidance was clear, patient, and tailored to my pace.
I gained both technique and confidence, I highly recommend her classes to anyone wanting to explore painting in a supportive and inspiring environment.
